Description
BC Health Regulators (BCHR), on behalf of participating health profession regulatory colleges in British Columbia, is establishing an approved vendor list for Support Workers. This initiative is in response to new legislation, the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA), which came into effect on April 1, 2026. The HPOA mandates that regulatory colleges offer Support Workers to individuals who have filed complaints alleging sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, or discrimination by a regulated health practitioner. The Support Workers will assist these individuals throughout the complaint process. This opportunity is for qualified individuals to apply for inclusion on this approved list.
