Description
The Provincial Health Services Authority, on behalf of itself and participating regional health authorities, is seeking proposals for implantable neurostimulation systems and associated services in two categories: Spinal Cord Stimulation for chronic neuropathic pain and Sacral Neuromodulation for bladder and bowel disorders. The scope includes implantable pulse generators, leads and electrodes, cables and extensions, trial leads and external pulse generators, clinician and patient programmers, accessories, instruments, consumables, warranty, technical support, maintenance, training, documentation, and related implementation services. Suppliers may propose for either or both categories, and PHSA may select primary and secondary suppliers for each category. The procurement uses a two-envelope submission structure. Envelope One includes the introduction, draft contract, signed terms acceptance, disclosures, WorkSafeBC materials, insurance certificate, business requirements, clinical and technical questionnaires, and category specifications. Envelope Two includes category-specific pricing, post-warranty services, and value-add workbooks. Category 2 proposals may also require product validation, presentations, samples, and patient-trial support. Pricing must be provided in Canadian dollars, and the contract term is three years plus one two-year extension option. Addendum 4 extends the closing deadline to October 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time.
