Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting one 1-gallon kit of sealing compound, NSN 8030-01-175-3479, consisting of base resin and curing agent in separate containers. The compound must comply with MIL-PRF-8516G, Type I, low viscosity, Class 3, 72-hour cure at 77 degrees Fahrenheit, Category A, and the specified part number M8516-1-3-A-1. The item is subject to Qualified Products List requirements, and the manufacturer must be QPL-approved at contract award. The kit must have a 9-month extendable shelf life, comply with MIL-STD-129 labeling and DLA packaging requirements, and include required safety data and hazardous-material labeling when applicable. Delivery is required within 20 days after acknowledgment of delivery, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance.
