Description
This Request for Information seeks capability statements from contractors able to provide offsite sterile processing support for military treatment facilities. The contemplated services include transporting surgical instruments between military treatment facilities and contractor-operated offsite facilities; decontamination, assembly, and sterilization; qualified personnel; sterile processing facilities and equipment; inventory verification; and quality-control verification. Potentially supported equipment includes minimally invasive surgical cases and peel packs, dental instrument trays, power equipment, hysteroscopy equipment, major basic sets, ENT instruments and airway sets, arthroscopy instruments, abdominal hysterectomy sets, weighted speculums, and da Vinci accessories. Respondents must describe comparable sterile-processing experience from the last five years, implementation capabilities, supported facilities, equipment capacity, pricing or pricing considerations, sterilization systems, shrinkage tracking, barriers to service, and applicable business classifications. The response must include the attached questionnaire and a capability statement in PDF format; this RFI is for market research only and will not result in a contract award.
