Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking an individual consultant under a seven-month Long-Term Agreement to assist the Chorrillos artisanal fishing organization with preparing and submitting a Declaration of Interest, a marine baseline study, and an extraction plan for benthic marine invertebrates, specifically octopus and red sea urchin. The work includes technical coordination with the fishing organization and relevant authorities, participatory meetings and workshops, field visits, validation of the service area, support in addressing regulatory observations, and preparation of the required submissions and process reports. The consultant must be a licensed and registered biologist or fisheries engineer and have at least four years of general professional experience, including at least two relevant experiences involving benthic marine invertebrate studies, marine hydrobiological-resource evaluations or coastal-marine baseline studies, and subtidal evaluations or supervision of diving work. The proposal must include a completed offer letter, documented CV and résumé summary, methodological proposal, and detailed cost breakdown. The methodological proposal must address the approach, methodology, work plan, schedule, risks, and mitigation measures. The agreement does not guarantee that any minimum quantity of services will be ordered; individual contracts may be issued for each product.
