Description
The Pennsylvania Department of General Services, in coordination with Temple University, is soliciting bids for the General Construction Package for the 1500 North Broad Street Development Project, also known as Burk Mansion. The work includes renovations and improvements to Burk Mansion, the detached Conservatory, and the surrounding property, including structural, exterior, civil, and site work, with related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection coordination. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and applicable taxes. The project will use a multi-prime contract delivery structure, with General Construction, Mechanical-HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection, and other directly engaged prime contractors. Bidding information and documents will be released and processed through Temple's TUebid system.
