Description
Shared Services Canada is establishing an open, ongoing qualification process for Canadian-owned and controlled businesses seeking to participate in future Government of Canada sovereign cloud procurements. Qualification is a mandatory entry point for later solicitations, but this process is not a competitive procurement and will not result in a contract award. The first intake closes October 26, 2026, at 23:59 EDT; subsequent intake dates are listed in the ITQ, and Canada may add ad hoc dates. Indicative future capabilities include Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, AI-enabling services, managed services for classified cloud solutions, and other cloud-enabling capabilities. Respondents must complete the online response form, demonstrate Canadian ownership and control, provide corporate and registration information, attest that they and their parent entities are not subject to specified foreign legal compulsion, describe their ownership structure, and submit at least one value proposition for a current offering. The value proposition must address the service, sovereignty attributes, target clients and uses, distinguishing characteristics, and dependencies or constraints. No pricing or supplementary documents are expected, and no security clearance is required at this qualification stage.
