Description
The City of Santa Monica is soliciting proposals for a firm-fixed five-year contract covering replacement of the City Hall UPS system and seven in-row cooling units, along with ongoing maintenance, repair, replacement, assessment, and support for UPS, cooling, environmental monitoring, and related equipment across City facilities. The replacement work includes removal and disposal of existing equipment; furnishing and installation of new UPS and chilled-water in-row cooling systems; electrical, mechanical, controls, chilled-water, drainage, and network-management integration; permits and inspections; startup and testing; temporary systems as needed; and phased implementation that maintains continuous operation of critical systems. Citywide services include preventive maintenance at least annually, on-site corrective and emergency repairs, equipment and battery replacement, technical support, 24/7 availability, defined response times, project management, system design and as-built documentation, maintenance and warranty documentation, and manufacturer equipment warranties plus at least a one-year installation labor warranty. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, three comparable projects completed within the past five years, required California licenses, applicable manufacturer certification or an authorized service provider arrangement, current DIR registration, and prevailing-wage compliance. The proposal must include technical, qualifications, personnel, references, work-plan, and detailed cost information, as well as the required certifications and disclosures.
