This advance procurement notice is not a bid solicitation or request for proposals. It concerns anticipated facilities maintenance and support contracts for approximately 100 existing buildings, associated utility infrastructure, parking lots, sidewalks, roads, and landscaped areas across Churchill, Manitoba; Inuvik and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; Whitehorse, Yukon; and multiple Nunavut locations. The anticipated procurement is divided into one contract covering Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon, with an estimated potential value of $240 million, and a separate Nunavut contract with an estimated potential value of $225 million. The scope includes hard services such as building-envelope maintenance; heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration; doors; electrical, elevator, plumbing, fire detection and suppression, generator, life-safety, security and access-control systems; and kitchen equipment. Soft services include integrated pest management, landscaping and grounds maintenance, janitorial services, hazardous-waste management, environmental services, snow and ice control, solid-waste management, utility-billing support, facilities support, service-management coordination, maintenance-program management, emergency readiness and response, asset-investment advice, and help-desk services. Additional work may be handled through an Additional Work Request process. The anticipated contracts would have a five-year initial term plus two three-year option periods, for a potential duration of up to 11 years. Future solicitations are anticipated to require Facility Security Clearance at the Secret level.
