Description
The National Research Council of Canada requires one high-capacity mixing system for laboratory-scale preparation of polymers, composites, adhesives, inks, slurries, resins, and other advanced material formulations. The system must use dual asymmetric centrifugal mixing technology and support simultaneous mixing and deaeration, batches up to 1,000 g or 2 L, high-viscosity and particle-filled materials, servo-driven motion control, programmable operating parameters, bladeless operation, and repeatable batch performance. The equipment must include an integrated touchscreen, container holders, adapters, and required accessories; safety interlocks and an emergency stop; compatibility with Canadian 120 V/240 V, 60 Hz power; CSA or equivalent safety certification; and English equipment displays and manuals. Installation and commissioning are to be completed within six months of delivery, with optional preventative maintenance, calibration, and additional accessories. This is an Advance Contract Award Notice identifying FlackTek as the pre-identified supplier; other suppliers may submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating compliance with every mandatory requirement by the closing date.
