Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 52 internal combustion engine pistons, NSN 2815-00-434-6593, part number 11683943-2, for a critical application item. The solicitation identifies Renk America LLC and Tecmotiv (USA), Inc. as approved sources and references a metal-casting manufacturing process. The pistons must be delivered within 161 days after order, with an original required delivery date of March 30, 2027. Delivery is FOB origin, with destination inspection and acceptance. Each piston must be individually packaged, cleaned and dried, wrapped, cushioned, placed in a waterproof-greaseproof barrier bag, and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and the stated DLA packaging requirements.
