Description
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is procuring a new Total Organic Carbon (TOC)/Total bound Nitrogen (TNb) analytical system with accessories to replace an unreliable existing instrument. The system must simultaneously measure TOC, Non-Purgeable Organic Carbon, Total Carbon, Total Inorganic Carbon, and TNb in environmental and agricultural samples, including soil extracts used for microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen analyses. Mandatory requirements include specified concentration ranges and detection limits, combustion-based oxidation, high-salt matrix handling, automated dilution and sample processing, autosampling, QA/QC support, compatible Canadian electrical service, new materials, current software, and a computer. The requirement also includes delivery, installation, integration, configuration, commissioning, acceptance testing, at least 7.5 hours of on-site English training, documentation, Canadian technical support, replacement parts and consumables availability for at least five years, and a comprehensive manufacturer warranty of at least three years. Optional extended warranty and five-year preventive maintenance pricing is requested. The opportunity is restricted to suppliers pre-qualified under Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI.
