Description
Middlesex County Public Library is seeking proposals for a bundled mobile data solution for its bookmobile, including internet connectivity throughout Middlesex County, Virginia, equipment and services necessary to deliver internet access, and pricing for data allowances ranging from 15 GB to 35 GB or unlimited. Requested bandwidth ranges from 5 Mbps to 500 Mbps and must support at least 10 staff and patron devices. The solution must include reliable coverage, a secure management and reporting portal, device access controls, CIPA-compliant filtering, 24/7/365 support, and Wi-Fi 6 equipment capable of supporting at least 10 client connections. Required equipment may include wireless access points, antennas, modem/router, cabling, mounting equipment, and licenses, with ruggedized equipment and a non-permanent installation option. Proposals must separately identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, E-Rate-ineligible costs, service-provider terms and conditions, and a coverage map. Contracted-service pricing is requested for 12-month and 36-month terms, with two additional voluntary 12-month terms.
