Description
The Province of British Columbia is offering Timber Sale Licence TA1490 for an estimated 41,604 cubic metres of coniferous timber: approximately 16,106 cubic metres of spruce, 13,201 cubic metres of lodgepole pine, and 12,297 cubic metres of balsam. The licence term is 21 months, and the upset stumpage rate is $43.30 per cubic metre. Applicants submit a bonus bid; the highest eligible bid is selected. Applicants are advised to verify the volume and grade estimates through a field review. Applicants must be registered BC Timber Sales enterprises in Categories 1, 4, or 5. The successful applicant must comply with BC Timber Sales environmental management requirements and applicable safety certification requirements. A bid deposit may be required; the amount is determined under the applicable regulation. The successful applicant may also need to obtain a road permit or road-use permit, as applicable.
