Description
Merritt Independent School District 2 is soliciting bids for 5 Gbps internet access and data transmission services, including leased lit fiber with internet access, eligible installation and configuration, Category 1 equipment, engineering, maintenance, and any special construction. Bidders must separately identify ineligible services and charges, and internet access proposals may include no more than three service options. A managed router for internet access is also requested. The district is also seeking Category 2 internal-connection equipment and installation/configuration, including 106 UniFi U7 Pro Max or equivalent access points, two UniFi U7-Pro Outdoors or equivalent access points, one UniFi U7-Mesh or equivalent access point, two UniFi USW-Pro-Max-24-PoE or equivalent switches, two UniFi UBB-XG or equivalent wireless building-to-building bridges, two TrippLite SRW6U or equivalent UPS units, and two CyberPower OR1500LCDRM1U or equivalent UPS units. Compatible equivalent equipment is permitted. Bids must include detailed item descriptions, model numbers, functionality, locations, total costs, ineligible portions, and one-time charges, with installation and configuration priced separately.
