Description
Natural Resources Canada is seeking a contractor to maintain a custom, high-pressure, high-temperature, high-speed supercritical carbon dioxide compressor. The work includes motor and electrical megger checks, installation of overhaul components, compressor disassembly and reassembly, gas-leak testing, vibration testing at full operating speed, and shipment of the compressor to the agency’s facility. The agency will provide the custom assembly and disassembly tooling; the contractor must provide other required tooling and an overhaul kit with replacement components. The contractor must follow the compressor maintenance manual and demonstrate prior manufacturer-recommended maintenance experience on turbomachinery, including equipment operating at least 1,000 RPM and 100 PSI. Required deliverables include megger-check readings and leakage and vibration test results, which may be submitted in Microsoft Office or PDF format. The contract is a fixed-price, competitive RFP evaluated on lowest price among technically compliant offers, with performance through March 31, 2027.
