The Department of the Interior’s Interior Business Center is seeking to extend the ordering period of an existing firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded on a sole-source basis to Skydio, Inc. The agreement supports call orders for Skydio X2E unmanned aerial systems, Skydio Next Generation systems, future versions, integrated payloads, and accessories including batteries, chargers, ground control stations, tablets, and controllers. The existing BPA has a three-year ordering period from October 30, 2023, through October 29, 2026. The justification supports a two-year extension from October 30, 2026, through October 29, 2028, increasing the total ordering period to five years. The justification states that the Skydio systems are the only identified Blue sUAS products meeting the agency’s mission and compliance requirements, including applicable restrictions on covered foreign-entity unmanned aircraft systems. This notice is a sole-source justification rather than a competitive solicitation.
