Description
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to issue a sole-source purchase order for repair and calibration of a nonfunctioning Fluke Electronics Model 910R GPS/rubidium frequency reference. The contractor must open and evaluate the unit, identify the causes of its garbled display and continuously illuminated alarm indicator, provide a written evaluation and firm-fixed-price repair quote, and perform repairs only after written government approval and contract modification. Repairs must use genuine OEM parts and restore the instrument to full operational condition. After successful repair, the contractor must perform ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration, including as-found and as-left data, measurement uncertainties, and direct NIST traceability. Deliverables include a certificate of calibration and detailed repair and evaluation report. The contractor must be an authorized Fluke service facility using an authorized Fluke service technician, manage shipment of the government-furnished instrument, and process receiving and shipping through the PIEE GFP module.
