Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting one technically qualified supplier for the complete supply and delivery of food products for the National Police School and National Gendarmerie School of the Central African Republic. The required quantities cover 30 weeks over a maximum period of 10 months after issuance of the purchase order and include coffee, tea, powdered milk, sugar, spreadable butter, chocolate spread, spices, seasoning cubes, iodized salt, soybean oil, tomato concentrate, peanut paste, rice, macaroni, spaghetti, eggs, mutton, goat meat, frozen captain fish, frozen whole chicken, and beef. The supplier must provide all quantities, maintain appropriate food-safety and cold-chain controls, use refrigerated transport, and provide required sanitary and veterinary certificates. Deliveries are to be divided between the two schools, with meat, fish, and poultry delivered daily at 4:00 p.m.; other food deliveries are scheduled biweekly. The technical submission must address qualifications, relevant experience, quality assurance, delivery methodology and schedule, sustainability, and environmental and social management. Partial offers are not permitted, and the contract will be awarded to one qualified supplier offering the lowest technically compliant price.
