Description
The Marine Corps seeks OEM-approved repair of one government-owned Haas HS-4R milling machine. The contractor must provide and install the specified replacement components, qualified technician labor, tools, travel, and related materials; prepare removed core components for return; and perform post-repair functional testing in the presence of a government employee. Only OEM or OEM-approved parts may be used unless the Government authorizes otherwise. The work is limited to the identified machine and repair scope. The contractor must be the OEM, an OEM-authorized service provider, a Federal Haas Factory Outlet, or another authorized/certified technical representative. Technician qualification evidence is required before work begins. A service report documenting the technician, work, parts, tests, and any remaining deficiencies is due at service completion or upon Government request. The RFQ states that the Government intends a direct, noncompetitive award to the OEM and evaluates technical compliance, price, supplier performance risk, and the required FAR 52.240-90 representation or applicable disclosure.
