Description
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department seeks a firm-fixed-price solution to modernize and upgrade the existing audio/visual equipment serving the Southern Nevada Counterterrorism Center. The scope includes video-wall displays and controllers, backend equipment in the IDF room, dedicated and physically separated video networking, network switches and related devices, equipment-room cabinets and power distribution, structured copper and fiber cabling, installation, configuration, testing, documentation, and maintenance. The work also includes applicable paging-system equipment and cabling, firestopping, labeling, system testing, training, warranties, and as-built documentation. The contractor must meet the specified CommScope structured-cabling requirements, use an authorized and accredited installer, provide qualified personnel and required licenses, and address future expansion or integration of additional video walls, displays, and A/V endpoints. Proposals are evaluated on background information, qualifications and references, project work plan, added-value features and warranty information, and pricing.
