Description
The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is issuing a Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) to pre-qualify vendors of record for the supply, delivery, installation, and repair of fitness equipment. The contract is initially from May 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, with the option to renew for five additional one-year periods through December 31, 2028. DSBN serves over 40,000 students across 78 elementary and 17 secondary schools in the Niagara Region. Equipment categories include cardio machines (cross trainers, ellipticals, exercise bikes, rowing machines, treadmills, etc.), strength equipment (barbells, dumbbells, weight machines, racks, etc.), conditioning/stretching items (bands, balance trainers, yoga mats, etc.), training materials, and flooring. Repairs and maintenance services are also included. Multiple suppliers will be pre-qualified, and there is no guarantee of any purchase; schools will purchase based on best fit. Suppliers may submit proposals at any time during the contract period.
