Description
The State of South Carolina Department of Corrections requires a contractor to provide labor and materials to repair a damaged Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) on a WME chiller (Model # WME, Serial # STNU230100024). The scope includes diagnosing the issue, removing the damaged drive, replacing it with a new or repaired unit, performing startup and testing, and determining any additional measures needed. Both shortened boards will need to be replaced to test for further damage in the drive section. A screw shorted from high voltage power to chassis, causing arc damage to control boards. Refrigerant is not included. Any and all recommended or required repairs are to be quoted separately.
