Description
This notice announces the Department of State's intent to award a sole source contract for preventive maintenance services for three existing Schindler 5500 elevator systems located at U.S. Government facilities in Kampala, Uganda. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238290, and the Product and Service Code (PSC) is Z1PZ. Roko Technical Services Limited is identified as the sole authorized Schindler representative in Uganda and is therefore the only responsible source capable of providing certified preventive maintenance for these specific elevator systems. The estimated period of performance includes one base year with up to three one-year option periods, exercisable at the U.S. Government's discretion. While this is not a request for proposal, all responsible sources are invited to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration.
