Description
The County of San Diego seeks one new or unused 2026-or-newer Ford F-250 XL Crew Cab 4x4 with an 8-foot bed. Required specifications include Oxford White exterior paint, a 7.3L V8 gasoline engine, heavy-duty vinyl seating, all-weather floor mats, four programmed key sets, a spray-in bedliner, upfitter switches, roof-mounted strobes, a 12,000-pound winch, platform running boards, a gullwing crossover toolbox, a Tommy Gate G2 Series 1,300-pound aluminum liftgate, and a white headache rack or County-approved equivalent. The quotation must include the vehicle, outfitting parts, outfitting labor, applicable fees, shipping, and all additional charges. The contractor must register the vehicle in California, provide required DMV documentation, complete all outfitting before delivery, and deliver the vehicle to the County's DGS Fleet Services facility within the required lead time. The County will evaluate price and performance factors, including experience, qualifications, technical approach, vehicle specifications, physical availability, and delivery lead time. The procurement is reserved for local businesses, defined as businesses headquartered in or selling the same or similar goods from a location within San Diego County.
