This is a pre-viewing notice for planned winter and spring timber sales in the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area, including a proposed undeveloped timber sale licence for salvage of wildfire-damaged timber in the Nightmare Creek/TFL 56 area. The proposed salvage area is within Block 56-004 and comprises stands affected by a 2026 wildfire. If later offered for sale, the successful licensee would develop cut blocks and final access roads, and harvesting would be subject to the applicable forest stewardship plan, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
