BC Timber Sales is inviting eligible registered timber sales enterprises in specified categories to apply for a 36-month timber sale licence covering an estimated 51,879 m³ of timber across approximately 188.1 hectares. The estimated timber mix is primarily spruce, with balsam, Douglas fir, lodgepole pine, aspen, and cottonwood. Applicants submit a bonus bid for the competitive timber volume; the stated upset stumpage rate is $58.27 per cubic metre for coniferous sawlog grades. The estimates are based on a full cruise, and bidders are advised to review the licence area in the field. The successful applicant will be responsible for harvesting and associated road work, including approximately 7.8 km of new road construction, road maintenance, and rehabilitation. The licence requires compliance with the applicable environmental management and safety requirements, and a conformance certificate signed by a registered forest professional after primary forest activities. A bid deposit may be required if requested by the Timber Sales Manager; the successful applicant must provide security-deposit information before entering into the licence.
