Description
Georgetown County School District (GCSD) is soliciting sealed bids from licensed contractors to provide on-call Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services. The contract will cover visual inspections, maintenance, repairs, and new installations of HVAC systems across the district's 19 schools and other facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, parts, equipment, and transportation on an as-needed basis. Services include work on split system heat pumps, package heat pumps, wall package units, gas packs, Mitsubishi City Multi-Split systems, Trane Morganizers, Trane Variable Airflow Systems, Daikin Multi-Split and Mini-Split systems, Daikin Variable Refrigerant Flow Three Pipe Systems, dedicated outside air supply systems, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers. The contractor must respond to maintenance and repair requests within three business days and provide emergency services 24/7 with a response time of three hours. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum total basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The initial contract period is one year with four additional one-year renewal options, for a maximum potential contract life of five years.
