Description
The Regional District of North Okanagan is seeking an organization or team with the vision, experience, and capacity to manage and animate the Greater Vernon Cultural Centre. The scope includes day-to-day facility operations, scheduling, front-of-house services, point-of-sale and ticketing, visitor experience, volunteer and event coordination, security, safety, compliance, coordination with resident organizations, notification of facility issues to the building owner, access for preventative maintenance, and minor building maintenance support. The operator will develop, coordinate, and deliver arts, cultural, educational, and community programming, including performances, exhibitions, workshops, festivals, and public events in the facility’s common and shared areas, as well as activation of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Additional responsibilities include marketing, promotion, sponsorship development, fundraising, donor engagement, audience development, cultural tourism initiatives, partnership coordination, and revenue-generation activities that support financial sustainability and increased participation.
