Description
Grand Falls Regional Municipality is requesting tenders for a one-year renewable contract to truck approximately 1,200 metric tons of highway salt between Nutrien at 12701 Route 114 in Penobsquis and the municipal garage at 131 Industrial Road in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Deliveries are required during business hours, with the first load due within 24 hours after an order and remaining loads due within three days. Bidders must use the supplied bid form and submit a sealed envelope by delivery or mail. The contractor is responsible for required licenses and permits, applicable environmental and occupational health and safety compliance, and liability for damages. Liability insurance confirmation may be required from the successful bidder. A 5% preference may apply to local bidders, subject to stated statutory thresholds and maximum differences.
