Description
The University of Oregon is seeking travel services for its Jazz Ensemble's participation in the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy, along with a minimum of four additional concerts in France, Italy, or Switzerland. The anticipated tour is approximately 10 to 14 days, beginning in early July 2027, and will include approximately 22 students, two faculty members, and two staff members, with a potential companion itinerary for 10 to 20 patrons. Required services include itinerary development; round-trip international air transportation; lodging; meals; ground transportation by private luxury motor coach; couriers; instrument shipping or rental coordination; airport assistance; guided sightseeing; concert coordination and promotion; festival fees or deposits; and a secure participant website for updated itineraries. Proposals must address experience, references, methodology, project approach, key personnel, safety and incident planning, litigation, an itemized budget, and sustainability. Optional services include passport and visa assistance, beverages, trip cancellation or interruption insurance, musical-instrument transport insurance, excursion recommendations, checked baggage fees, and musician-friendly airline arrangements.
