Description
The City of Norfolk is soliciting a quote for one gearbox and motor assembly, Product No. 3855MSPTOSaS, for Moore's Bridges Water Treatment Plant. The motor specifications are 1,800 RPM, 230/460 volts, 182TC frame, pedestal mount, and high-speed coupling; the gearbox must be triple reduction. Addendum #1 states that drawings and photographs provide additional equipment details and must be acknowledged by signing and enclosing the addendum with the bid package. The equipment must include a manufacturer's warranty of at least one year, with warranty repairs—including shipping and handling—provided at no cost to the City. Delivery is required by December 31, 2026, unless otherwise agreed upon. Quotes must include the completed RFQ cover page, Attachments A through F, required electronic-posting vendor submissions and pricing, and a statement identifying the basis for protecting any proprietary information. Attachment G is encouraged but not required.
