Description
The United States Naval Academy requires an Inductively-Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) Spectrometer with an autosampler to support its academic mission. The system will be capable of measuring minor and trace elements at low-to-mid part-per-billion concentrations in natural waters and soil and sediment digestates. Key technical specifications include operability with high-purity Argon, a complete system with software, an introduction system, a chiller, and necessary standards. The autosampler must handle 60 or more samples, and the system must be plumbed into existing ventilation systems. Components will be powered by standard AC power, and the system's footprint will be compact enough for benchtop placement, with a floor-mounted chiller. Software compatibility with Windows 11 for multiple computers is required, and all freight and shipping charges are to be included in the system cost. The delivery will include a minimum of two days of vendor-supported installation and training for three or more users.
