The North Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS), Division of Emergency Management (NCEM), Hazard Mitigation Office is seeking to qualify highly skilled Prime Contractors to perform residential property acquisition and structure demolition services located across North Carolina. This work will be completed through the NCEM Hazard Mitigation program and includes, but is not limited to, project scoping, pre-construction services, construction/demolition activities, post-construction services, and closeout services of eligible structures. This RFPQ is a prequalification process to establish a list of prequalified Prime Contractors who will have the ability to bid on residential construction services for projects administered by NCEM as the need arises. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Vendors previously qualified under a prior RFPQ for acquisition and demolition services will not need to re-qualify, but all qualified vendors will be required to reapply when the next pre-qualification period is posted.
