Description
The U.S. Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting 20 ball bearings under NSN 3110-01-660-7743 and part number AA59596-912JBCE. The bearings must conform to the specified Federal Commercial Item Description and applicable procurement requirements, be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129, and include the manufacturer’s FSCM/CAGE code and part number on intermediate and unit packs. Items must have at least 85% of their 72-month shelf life remaining at shipment. The procurement includes inspection, quality-assurance, packaging, and delivery requirements, including FOB destination delivery and applicable MIL-STD-2073 packaging provisions. The solicitation states that the technical data package is complete and that there are no technical-data, engineering, tooling, or manufacturing restrictions. Any proposed alternate or deviation requires advance identification and supporting technical data. Certificates of Compliance under DI-MISC-81356 and cure-date certificates under DI-MISC-81318 are required at material delivery.
