Description
The Department of National Defence is procuring two sleeve bearings, part number 68648, NCAGE 36219, for maritime equipment associated with HFX-class ships. The goods must be new and supplied in accordance with the applicable design data, LR-RU-002 requirements, and Canadian Forces packaging and delivery requirements. The offer must identify the offered part number and NCAGE and include the required offer forms. The manufacturer must appear on Lloyd's Register's approved-manufacturer list, and bidders must provide a valid Lloyd's Register Works Certificate. Before delivery, the material must include LR Material Certification under EN 10204, type 3.2, and evidence of hydrostatic casting testing at a minimum internal pressure of 350 MPa (50 psi) for 10 minutes to test for porosity. The procurement is competitive and may be subject to Canadian-content and reciprocal-procurement eligibility requirements; the solicitation states that controlled goods requirements apply.
