Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is issuing this Call for Proposals (CFP) on behalf of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's (ISED) Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) program and participating departments. The purpose is to create pools of potential innovative solutions to address a wide range of challenges facing federal departments and agencies. The Challenge Stream supports pre-commercial innovations by small businesses, with entry at Phase 1 (Proof of Feasibility, TRL 1-4) or Phase 2 (Prototype Development, TRL 5-9). Offerors must be for-profit, incorporated in Canada, with 499 or fewer full-time equivalent employees, and perform R&D in Canada. Selected proposals may advance to Phase 2, the Testing Stream (prototype testing, TRL 7-9), and ultimately the Pathway to Commercialization.
