Description
The project includes retaining wall reconstruction, new sidewalk construction, and sidewalk and curb ramp improvements along New Ballas Road from Rocky Drive to De Smet Jesuit High School, plus related work. Bidders must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation's Qualified Contractor List, and the contractor questionnaire must be on file at least seven days before bid opening. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required with each proposal. No second-tier subcontracting is allowed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, subject to MoDOT concurrence and City Council confirmation.
