Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for one-time cleaning and inspection services on two Trane CVHF770 centrifugal chillers at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center. The work includes lockout/tagout, draining evaporators and condensers, removing and reinstalling chiller heads and piping, cleaning condenser and evaporator tubes, Eddy Current tube testing with a written report, replacing automatic tube-brush components compatible with Water Technology of Pensacola systems, replacing basket clips and up to 50 condenser baskets, and verifying chiller operation. The contractor must provide qualified chiller technicians, labor, equipment, materials, safety equipment, and reporting. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company information, technical capability, relevant past performance, contracting capacity, and optionally a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate. This is a sources-sought notice and RFI, not a solicitation or promise of award; the anticipated requirement is a one-time service to be completed within two months after award, with an estimated value of approximately $38,000.
