Description
This Request for Information seeks vendors capable of supplying a broad range of individually packaged, over-the-counter snack items for patients at Eastern State Hospital. Vendors should maintain a retail storefront within 35 miles, physical inventory or sourcing capability, and the ability to support pickup or delivery. The preferred ordering method is an eVA punchout catalog, potentially serving multiple requisitioners. Respondents are asked to describe delivery timing and methods, emergency fulfillment for orders needed in less than four hours, stocked item and manufacturer information, estimated item pricing, domestic sourcing, and identification of dietary attributes such as allergy sensitivities, kosher, and halal. The RFI also asks about participation in Virginia's certified micro/small business program and recommendations for a future procurement.
