Description
The Government of Manitoba, represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery on behalf of Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation, is seeking a contractor to replace mechanical systems at two connected 11-storey apartment buildings. The buildings contain rentable residential units, and one includes a daycare centre; the work site will remain occupied during construction. The procurement is an open competitive RFP. Proponents must account for the Buy Manitoban Buy Canadian policy, including potential preferences for Manitoban or Canadian vendors, Canadian content, and Canadian-produced construction materials. The contractor may also be required after award to collaborate with Manitoba on equivalent Canadian alternatives for proposed non-Canadian products. An optional site visit is scheduled, and proposals must be submitted electronically through MERX.
