Description
The Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority seeks a contractor to remove existing coverings and install new vinyl coverings on 51 operable partitions in meeting rooms and pods at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The scope includes supplying labor, materials, equipment, and backing; preparing panel faces; and providing 15 extra bolts of vinyl as attic stock. Bidders must price the specified Cascade 44-723 Urban Grey vinyl or an approved alternate, and include a price deduction option for use of approximately 600 yards of attic-stock vinyl. The owner will provide one scissor lift and dumpsters; the contractor is responsible for any additional lifts and disposal of the removed material. The bid package requires a project schedule and evaluates bidder experience, qualifications, workforce, safety, financial capability, and compliance history. Prevailing-wage and equal-employment-opportunity requirements apply. A bid guaranty and contract bond are required; the bid guaranty may alternatively be provided as a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit for 10% of the base bid plus accepted alternates. Insurance and contract bond documentation are required from the successful bidder after award, not with the bid.
