Description
Cegep de Matane is soliciting a contractor for renovation and replacement work at its facility. The scope includes replacing the generator, main electrical panel, electrical substation, and emergency switch; demolishing a ceiling containing an asbestos panel in the existing generator area; renovating the boiler-room exterior cladding and chimney; and replacing the door to an adjacent Hydro-Quebec room. The work is scheduled to be performed from May 1 through September 30, 2028. A bid security equal to 10% of the total bid is required in the form of a surety bond or irrevocable letter of guarantee, valid for 45 days from bid opening. The solicitation is an open competitive request for proposals, and the full plans, specifications, and contractual documents are available through the electronic tendering system. Addendum 1 changes the optional site visit to October 15, 2026, at 15:00, with assembly at the main entrance, Door 1.
