The Hudson School District is soliciting proposals for the acquisition of science curricular resources for grades 6-12. These resources are intended for various science classes, including Integrated Science (6-8), Biology, Physical Science, AP Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and Anatomy and Physiology. The selection process is a three-phase approach, beginning with sample material submissions and a written summary by December 1, 2026. Finalists will be notified by June 15, 2026, to schedule presentations in the summer of 2026. A decision is expected in the fall of 2026, with full implementation planned for the fall of the 2027-28 school year. Key evaluation criteria include learning standards alignment, developmental appropriateness, research-based content, student and teacher materials, instructional strategies, professional learning supports, assessment capabilities (including depth of knowledge and data reporting), and inclusion of diverse perspectives and accessibility. Finalist vendors must submit 25 copies of a written summary detailing their service offerings, hardware specifications (both physical and virtual resources), and itemized purchase costs. This opportunity is a Request for Proposal, not a competitive bid. The District reserves the right to reject proposals, waive irregularities, and select the most advantageous option. All proposals become public record, and terms regarding collusive bidding, bribery, and conflicts of interest are outlined.
