Description
This Advance Procurement Notice concerns a potential modified design-build contract for a 60 MW data center facility in the National Capital Region of Ontario. The planned facility would support operations, security, and technology modernization and would include tailored mechanical and electrical configurations, a small office area, and a shipping and receiving area. The anticipated contract estimate is C$1.5 billion to C$1.85 billion, subject to approval to proceed, with the future solicitation anticipated in winter 2027. This is not a bid solicitation or request for proposals. Interested design-builders may use the notice to assess capacity and begin the security sponsorship process. The anticipated eligibility requirement is a valid Facility Security Clearance, and the project may include an Indigenous business participation component under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business.
