The University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic is soliciting bids for two new and unused Universal Robots UR15 collaborative robots. Used, refurbished, and demonstration equipment will not be accepted. The robots will support hands-on instruction in computer-aided manufacturing, advanced robotics, vision integration, robotic integration, and automated quality assurance, including integration with Haas VF-2SS CNC milling machines and a TIGO coordinate measuring machine. The requested equipment must meet the mandatory UR15 specifications in Attachment A, including a 15 kg payload, 1,300 mm reach, six rotating joints, force and torque sensing, a 12-inch touchscreen teach pendant, and the specified safety, environmental, control-box, and communications requirements. Bidders must provide an itemized quote, delivery timing, warranty and service-level information, relevant warranty documents, three comparable client references from the past three years, manufacturer authorization information, applicable NRTL certifications, and other technical response information. Delivery is to the University’s Central Receiving dock in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with shipping and related costs included in the bid price.
