Description
Mineral County Library System is soliciting proposals for dedicated synchronous Internet access at bandwidth levels of 150 Mbps, 250 Mbps, and 500 Mbps for its main library. The solution must provide bandwidth dedicated to the library with a committed information rate, have no data caps or usage-based throttling, and terminate at the building’s demarcation point, generally the main distribution frame. The current service is 150 Mbps synchronous Internet access. Proposals must identify all monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and special construction charges, with no undisclosed additional charges. Providers must offer SPI discount billing, comply with applicable FCC supply-chain restrictions, and offer the lowest corresponding price. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027; month-to-month and contracted services will be considered, with requested pricing for 36- and 60-month terms. Contracts should permit bandwidth increases, allow penalty-free circuit termination if the location closes, and prohibit price increases during the term.
