Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division is conducting market research regarding the procurement of seven sets of M250-KS4 gas turbine engine Special Support Equipment (SSE). The equipment is intended to support Regional Maintenance Center turbine shops by improving maintenance capabilities, reducing repair turnaround times, and enabling refurbishment of previously unusable engine components. The requested SSE includes engine maintenance stands, wrenches, adapters, holders, dummy bearings, pullers, protectors, crimpers, installation tools and fixtures, gauges, compressor and turbine assembly fixtures, alignment and pressing equipment, pilot plates, rams, guides, and related tooling. The attached specification table identifies the required part numbers and quantities, with each listed item required in a quantity of seven. This is a sources-sought Request for Information for planning purposes only, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than ten pages addressing their company information, applicable capabilities and products, users and references, manufacturing origin, warranty information, and other relevant customer information.
