Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 1,623 conical flared tube-fitting seals, NSN 4730-01-052-9422, under a source-controlled technical drawing. The requirement includes government first article testing: the contractor must deliver one test unit within 90 calendar days after contract award, and the government will evaluate the first article before production approval. The government’s stated first article testing evaluation cost is $500. The production items must be delivered FOB origin, inspected and accepted at destination, packaged in accordance with ASTM D3951 and applicable DLA requirements, and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. The solicitation requires approved Joint Certification Program access for the export-controlled technical data and states that all quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
