Description
The Department of Homeland Security is conducting market research for complete, lightweight, rapidly deployable, recoverable, and reusable small multirotor aircraft system kits for authorized frontline operational awareness, surveillance, search and rescue, incident response, perimeter security, disaster assessment, maritime or littoral awareness, and law enforcement support missions. Complete kits may include the aircraft, controller or ground control station, batteries, charger, electro-optical and/or infrared payloads, rugged case, spares, user interface, software, training materials, warranty, and support. DHS is interested in commercial off-the-shelf, modified commercial, and developmental systems with rapid setup, real-time and recorded video, metadata, secure command-and-control and data links, offline operation, NDAA compliance, Blue UAS, Green UAS, or equivalent cybersecurity and supply-chain maturity, domestic sourcing, and scalable production. Respondents should provide capability, cybersecurity, supply-chain, production, pricing, sustainment, and acquisition information, including estimated pricing at quantities from 10 to 50,000 complete kits. This Request for Information is for market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to purchase; classified information, marketing brochures, lengthy technical manuals, and supplemental materials are not requested.
